Dear Bill,
It’s been a long time since our last communication and I feel really uncomfortable about this.
Actually, I am a little depressed: the usual spring depression plus the political situation in Europe and in my country, in particular. I’ve been volunteering for some time in Piraeus Syrian refugees camp (over 5,000 persons, living in extremely crowded tent shelters, under conditions that make them losing their dignity as humans one day after another). I understood all the misery and hypocrisy of European philantrocapitalism. I feel sick and tired to be part of this Europe, I feel hopeless about all these people trying to find a safe place for their children. However, one good thing about this situation is that Greek citizens reacted better and quicker than the state itself.
Otherwise, I hope you and your beloved ones are fine ( I saw the family photo, it was nice to ‘’meet’’ you. Sotiris and I often talk about you; maybe, one day, when the capital controls will be lifted, we’ll be able to have one of your photos .
I have already visited your new page and will keep visiting again and again. Keep up the good work.
Love from Greece, Katia
Aγκαλιάζει is good Katia +++
Thank you for trusting to message me.
Remember that in this usa - neoliberalcapitalist sucker-land ... we have not had real national calamity and grief since our civil war in the 1860s !!!! We don't know shit! Black and brown people here know what horror is.
White folks are clueless or helpless or self-protecting or ???
You are in the middle of STUFF Katia.
Comrades here - we do what we can and decide.
!Thank You! We are all working for all of us. Love, Bill.
