 I think Robbe-Grillet's Cliches were pretty original. Wait, his title was Instantanés. (Same difference: cliché instantané.) Love this photo for the pathos and the surprise the eye feels as it moves left to right. Prayer: what good is it unless it brings us in communion with the earth? And no safe place for a spirit like this one, who "cannot" be seen as spirit. Body. Slave. "Amusement." Stolen child. But the way the hand in contact seems to be asking, "Are you alright?"

I really despair at this point.

It's bringing back the Reagan years and filling me with hate for Reagan all over as I tick off the boxes where Trump matches up with him in recklessness and in the coming War on the Poor.

Any time people start talking hagiographic shit about Reagan, I start to lose it. 

Without Medicare/Medicaid expansion, people are going to be denied vital services and this means people will die. Republicans could care less. I'm sure you saw Wyden grilling Price yesterday. On CNN today, he pointed to the bullshit word...people will have "ACCESS" to health care...in other words, they will have no health coverage. I have ACCESS to Versailles right now, but I can't afford to pop in or buy it.

I really hate what's happened in this country and I hate the idiots who elected him...if he even was elected. I still wonder if the polls could have been THAT WRONG. I would not be surprised if this wasn't techno-magic. We should have stayed with paper ballots.

The pipeline deal doesn't even have acccountability for eco-disasters factored in. The taxpayers pay for it if it happens, not the rich foreign concerns getting richer. Canada must be happy. I'm talking about both pipelines not just the one. And the water table is close to the surface in the desert parts there, I think. I don't see how they could ever get it back out if it spills. 

And Trump's ego can't deal with losing the popular vote so he's trying to rewrite reality...even his henchmen know he's crazy. They're just working with the crazy for now. Maybe some of them are biding their time."
